You cannot discover a new land without first losing sight of the shore!
I dedicate this amazing experience of island hopping to my Great luck. The perfect weather, the perfect wind, calm sea and Cool skipper.
If you have sailed even once then you would understand what I mean.
Our Full day sea tour which is popularly known as 5 island tour in split. You would find tens of agencies and tour companies that offer you this tour of 5 Island hopping. Blue Cave, Green Cave, Stiniva Beach, Palmizana, Hvar island are the ones on the list of all. But out of all we chose http://splitsea.tours/ compared to other tour companies it was little costly but worth it. Our skipper was so super active and was sharing his experience in every point.
I have shared my experience of the Blue Cave and Green cave in separate post. This post is for the rest.
Budikovac beach – I was already impressed with the amazing beauty of Stiniva beach experience, but when we visited the Budikovac Island. I was almost feeling like hypnotized now.
After the beauty of Stiniva, Another lagoon which we visited on our speed boat tour was the lagoon of Budikovac Island. I would like to use a phrase for this island as “beauty untouched”.
Even though it’s called blue lagoon but the water was beautiful turquoise. The shallow and crystal clear sea is the perfect spot to jump from the boat and enjoy swimming and snorkeling in this little paradise.
Interesting fact we got to know from our skipper was that there is only single person living in island. He is responsible for the single restaurant that runs at this destination that travelers come to this place.
Hvar Town – The visit to Hvar island was a stopover for lunch and extended time to relax. Here we got opportunity to not only taste the Mediterranean cuisine but also to chat with our fellow boat traveler.
The hot sun and chilled beer made the mood for next destination.
As informed by our skipper, Hvar Island is one of the popular and most preferred destinations for holiday makers. Hvar town is mostly popular for rich culture, lots of sunshine and beautiful views overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
Popular place to visit – Hvar’s Fortica and St Stephens Square
Milna Island – This was a bonus trip for us. Our tour which was scheduled to start at 8.00 am in the morning started an hour late because of some technical problem in the boat and to this was a surprise additional island trip from the tour agency as kind of compensation for the late start. How cool was that. I mean who does that???
You don’t do this tour on often basis, we may not see each other in future in anytime soon, and such gesture is truly appreciated and obviously makes sense to recommend for any other traveler planning for such tour.
Spending the time at sea is never a bad idea. The sea has a mystical power in itself to wash away the sweat (tiredness) and tears (Improve your mood).
The overall experience was not awesome, mesmerizing, incredible, because all the above word are just a meagre descriptions of the paramount experience.! This tour was a great way to see several of the islands in just one day again,at record speed……:)

Croatia is very big place and there are lots of options to do. Depending on the city you select and also the season..Croatia is moderate compared to other big European cities.

I don’t think I understood what you meant by singles only on island. Does that mean no one can be married, that only single people, unattached people can live there? So as long as you’re not married you’re allowed to live there? Or did you mean that only one family (perhaps) could have an island to themselves? Beautiful pictures!!

No Jolie,
Budikovac is a small island and not inhabited by people.
I meant there is only person living on that person who is running a small business for tourists.

Definitely not recommend for someone who has water sickness…

True, it wouldn’t help if the person remained sick and missed all the fun! I’ve heard about Split and would like to visit it one day. In fact I would like to spend time in the whole of Croatia just marvelling in its beauty.

We’ve been to Croatia a few times, and I absolutely love Hvar (although not so much the nightlife…). There is something magic about the Adriatic and the sailing trip sounds like a fun way to discover several islands. Milna looks like a beautiful spot!

Hvar Island looks like a small cozy place..boats parked on the shore, cool breeze and evening sun rays..creating perfect weather for romantic evening🙂 I would love to stay there if ever I would go there with my own boat.
