Kamari Beach – Greece

I am a huge beach lover, and when it comes to beaches being used to golden sandy beaches this place comes as a bit of a shock. However Kamari beach is not really sandy. Do not get me wrong, it is nice cleanest and the most organized and picture-perfect, partly because the beach is made up of black rocks and pebbles instead of sand   you can lay on the beach and relax.

Kamari is the cleanest and the most organized and picture-perfect, partly because the beach was made up of volcanic black mixes of grit and shingle instead of sand, so nobody was really playing in the beach and also very difficult to walk on bare footed for any distance.

Kamari beach water was unbelievably beautiful and the town around it is quaint. Most of the sunbeds and parasols are free. Kamari has lots of options for cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and lively nightlife.

Transit – Regular bus service from Fira center to Kamari. Duration is less than 30 minutes.
